Effective January 1st, 2025, the NEW Time Claim Agreement is in effect.

What does that mean? All Claims submitted to the Carrier after January 1st, 2025 will be provided to the General Chairman's office for handling. The Engineer will no longer have to file the claim with either their Local Chairman or through this site.
However, If the Engineer has supporting documentation or would like to submit a Statement of Claim, in addition to what is written in the claim, that will be done here.
One of the most frustrating things about time claims is the burden of proof is on us! What that means is, we are the moving party and have to prove that the violation occurred and why it is warranted to be compensated. The carrier likes to claim, that since the rule doesn't have a specified penalty written into it that there is no claim. It has been upheld by many tribunals that when a rule in the CBA is broken a penalty is warranted. That does not always mean a basic day is warranted, however, a basic day is always claimed unless otherwise specified.
Before a time claim can be processed the following steps should be followed.
